Dear Parishioners and Friends:

We have completed our first month of reinstituting our in-person worship at Caroline Church, and those attending have been very thankful that after so many months being apart, we are finally able to pray together as a parish family.

Although the church building is very rustic looking, with all Prayer Books, Hymnals, papers, kneelers, and cushions removed, it is comforting to be back in our beloved sanctuary with our fellow parishioners.

Yes, we are spread out, masked, and sanitized our hands upon entering the church, but to be able to pray together once again, gives us a comfort and spiritual strength that cannot be duplicated on-line.

Of course, the health and well-being of every parishioner and visitor are paramount.

We will continue to follow the most up to date CDC and diocesan guidelines which now include the wearing of face coverings/masks and social distancing.

Of necessity, we are limited in our seating capacity, but can still accommodate up to 50 people by using both the upstairs and downstairs.

Hand sanitizer is available as you enter/leave the church. The church building is cleaned and sanitized after every worship service – that means three times every weekend.

The handicapped-accessible restroom in the Parish House is also cleaned and sanitized after every liturgy for any necessary use.

Of course, if you are in any way sick, you should remain home.

Also, those who cannot attend church because of age or pre-existing conditions will continue to have the opportunity to view and pray on-line each Sunday morning, beginning at around 9:00 a.m. through the Vimeo link e-blast sent out to all parishioners.

So whether you choose to join us at one of our weekend services or prefer to pray and worship with us via the wonders of modern technology, know that our Lord continues to watch over and protect all of us.

Cn. Richard+

May the Holy Spirit fill your hearts to praise the Lord for all the blessings of his grace.

God has an incredible journey waiting for each of us.

Whether you are taking that first step or you are more mature in your faith, there is a place for you at Caroline Church.

We hope you will join us!

My dear sisters and brothers in Christ:

On this, the first weekend in August, we have the great pleasure of listening today to a guest preacher, The Right Reverend Daniel Allotey, Assisting Bishop for the Diocese of Long Island. I hope that you will find his sermon as inspiring as I did.

The one thought I will add today is this; if we take the time to meditate on today's gospel from Matthew ( 14: 13-21) I think we can all agree that the gospel is showing us that our Lord will always give us what we need.

In the multiplication of the loaves and fishes, He controls the laws of nature in order to feed so many people; how can we possibly doubt that He will take care of us, and feed us, His children?

While it may not always seem that we are getting what we asked for, we can certainly be comforted in the reality that He will give is what we need.
